1) The web sites and information covered by this Privacy Policy:
This Privacy Policy applies to the web sites operated by Capcom, including and without limitation,

(the “CE Web Site(s)” or “Web Site(s)).

Please note that this Privacy Policy applies only to information submitted and collected online through the CE Web Site(s), and does not apply to information that may be collected by Capcom offline.

In addition, this Privacy Policy relates to the privacy practices of CE Europe Ltd. only, and not to our international affiliates. When you link to these foreign sites or any other sites from one of our Web Sites, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. Capcom is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such sites and you use such web sites at your own risk.

2) What types of information does Capcom collect and how will it be used?
In order to give you the best experience on our site, Capcom may collect information about you, but only when you voluntarily provide it to us. Typically, we may ask a user to submit personal and/or demographic information to us either: (a) as part of the Capcom registration process; (b) as part of the community forums registration process; ; and/or, (c) in connection with any C.V. or job application you submit to us; and/or, (d) as part of promotional activities or affiliate program.

The types of information that may be requested in each instance and the way the information may be used are detailed below.

a) Registration:
To register on our Web Sites, we may ask you to provide personal information such as your name and email address, and demographic information such as your date of birth. The information that you submit during registration will be used to: (i) allow you to participate in certain activities and features offered exclusively to registered users (e.g., game-specific events); and, (ii) where requested by you, send you a free subscription to our newsletter, which will keep you informed about upcoming releases, special new offers,marketing communications promoting both of Capcom’s and third party’s goods and services, and other events or opportunities that we believe you’d be interested in (see “How to unsubscribe?” below). You must be 18 years old or older to register with any of the CE Web Sites.

b) Community Forums:
Before you can post messages on our message board, we require that you become a registered user. Typically, this may involve submitting information to us which identifies you personally, such as your email address and full name, and creating a desired Login Name and password. We may also request and collect demographic information about you, including your gender, occupation, home page URL, the city, state and country in which you live, and other preferences; and, may combine such information with your personal information. The personal and demographic information that you submit to us during this process will allow you to post messages and will be used by us to tailor your message board experience to your preferences. To simply read messages posted on our bulletin board, you do not need to register. However, you must be at least 18 years old to register as a user of the community forum.

The ability to participate in the community forums is only available to those who have registered to use the community forums. To registered as a user, we will ask you to submit a login name and password. This information is collected so that you can access and participate in the message board without having to reregister each time you revisit the community forums.

Please note that whenever you give out personal information in the public areas of any of our Web Sites, such as in our community forums, that information can be viewed, collected and used by other users who you don’t know and over whom we have no control. Whilst we strive to protect those who wish to participate in these forums, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you post in these areas and so you use the community forums at your own risk. We accept no liability for the use made of your personal information by third parties unrelated to us. However, when you register to use our message board, we give you the option to make your email address inaccessible to other viewers or users of the message board.

c) Improving our goods and services
We would like to contact you from time to time by telephone or email in order to provide you with further information about any special offers, products or services that we or our carefully selected business partners may offer and which we consider may be of interest to you. We ask you to indicate your consent to this each time you submit personal information to us via the Web Sites. Should you agree to us sending you such information, we will give you the right to withdraw your consent to receiving any such further information in each subsequent communication we send to you.

To simply browse our Web Sites, however, you do not need to submit any personal information to us.

4) Does Capcom use cookies, track IP addresses or use other such technology to collect information?
a) Cookies:
Capcom uses cookies on its Web sites. A “cookie” is a small text file that may be stored on your computer’s hard drive when you visit a web site. We do not use cookies to collect personally identifiable information about you, nor does the use of a cookie give us access to the rest of your computer. They are used only to identify your computer to our servers. Cookies also allow us to tailor the CE Web Sites to your interests and preferences. 5) Who is collecting my personal information?
The information that you disclose while visiting our Web Sites is collected by CE Europe Ltd., and is used in the manner and for the purposes specified herein.

6) With whom does Capcom share my personal information?
Capcom may share your personal information with our parent, subsidiary, or affiliate companies for purposes of internal marketing and demographic studies, which help us improve and tailor the products and services we can provide you and to our suppliers or sub-contractors in order to meet any orders for goods or services requested by you.

Some of these companies may process your information in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), such as the United States and Japan. Data protection laws in these countries may not offer the same level of protection as in the EEA. If you are not happy for us to transfer your information in this way, you should not access and use our Web Sites.

7) What is Capcom’s policy regarding links to third party sites?
You should be aware that while you are on CE Web Site, you may be directed to other sites that are beyond our control and for which we are not responsible. As we cannot guarantee that the privacy practices of such web sites meet our high standards we recommend that you read the privacy policy of the web site to which you link before you submit any personal information.

8) How to unsubscribe
If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter or information about our products and services and any of third parties, you can at any time opt-out of receiving such communications by selecting the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter email or by sending a remove request to feedback@capcom.com.

9) How can I access my personal information?
If you have registered to use any message board on our Web Site(s) and wish to update your profile, you may do so online by clicking on “Profile”. You may be required to submit your login name and password before you can access and/or update your profile. We have the right to charge you GBP10.00 for processing such requests.

10) What is Capcom’s online privacy policy regarding children under 18?
We do not knowingly collect information from children 17 years old and under. A user who indicates that he or she is 17 years old or younger will not be allowed to register. Children over 18 years old are permitted to register provided that they have the consent of their parent(s) or legal guardian to do so. We strongly recommend that the parents and legal guardians of any child over 18 years of age who uses the CE Web Site(s) actively monitors their child’s use of the Web Site(s).
